Lazaroo – Wednesday, January 9, 2013
Jan 09, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with mounting faith:
“I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.”
(1 Samuel1:27)
There’s nothing like it, Jesus –
to ask You for a miracle
and get it.
Usually, we don’t call the birth of babies a miracle.
But this time, it was.
She tries to get pregnant for years.
Then the man of God prays – and voila!
You give her a son.
No doubt many of her friends explained it away.
“It was just a coincidence.”
“The priest’s prayer had a psychosomatic effect.”
But Hannah was having none of it.
She knew better.
It was a pure, precious gift
straight from You.
How many prayers have You answered for me, LORD?
Do I keep track?
How often do You answer, “Yes!”?
How often do You say, “No”?
How often do You tell me, “Wait”?
In total trust…
do I thank You for all three?
