Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with faith-filled anticipation:

“…this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”
(2 Kings 2:19)

It didn’t used to be that way, Jesus.

You created a perfect world
placed us in a perfect garden
gave us freedom to choose or reject You.

The moment we chose Satan

our perfect world was broken.

So now down here
the best we get is brief glimpses of Your perfection

marred by the consequences of sin.

But there is coming a Day, isn’t there?

You will once again create a perfect heaven and earth
and at last perfect those of us

who choose You.
