Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sober judgment:

“When the angel of the LORD had spoken these things to all the Israelites, the people wept aloud…”
(Judges 2:4)

Weeping aloud after an angel visit?

Not good.

Many times You send Your angels

to protect and comfort Your people
give us a heads up.

But this time, because they had

willfully
repeatedly
unrepentantly sinned

Your angel delivered terrifying news.

You are so patient with me, Jesus.

When I sin, You give me way too long
to turn it around.

But if I would foolishly conclude I have unlimited time to change my ways

I’d be wrong.
