Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in sold-out surrender:
“Our brothers have made us lose heart.”
(Deuteronomy 1:28)
Brothers do that sometimes, Jesus.
So do sisters.
A harsh word
a doubt planted in my mind
something one of them did to me
something another failed to do
a gift I gave they didn’t appreciate
a sacrifice I made that they took for granted
a need of mine they refused to meet
a time they were insensitive to my feelings.
You know, LORD…
this sure is starting to sound like I think
it’s all about me.
Maybe I’d do better to ask You to show me
if I’m doing any of that stuff
to them.
