Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:

“All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right.”

Everywhere I look I see evidence, Jesus.

Your judgment is right.

Of course, I don’t always recognize the evidence I see.

Sometimes the nicest people seem forced to get by on so little

until I remember the worries that come with possessions.

Sometimes You appear to give evil people riches, pleasure and long life

until I realize where they end up.

Sometimes I’m baffled by the “premature” death of a good person

until I discover that You did it to spare them from evil.

Sometimes the work I am doing for You backfires, or doesn’t seem to pay off.

until I remember that my treasure is in heaven

and no one can

take it away.
