Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with over-the-top trust:

“At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.”
(Daniel 1:15)

Wow, LORD.

These young men refused to compromise Your dietary laws.

They challenged their guard to put Your ways to the test –

and You backed them up!
Hallelujah!

No, my faith doesn’t rest on sight –

if it did, it wouldn’t be faith.

Time and again You call me to trust Your Word alone

to go for days…weeks…months…years…decades
in some cases, for the rest of my life

without the kind of proof I can touch, see, smell, taste or hear.

Fair enough.

Your promise alone is more than enough.

But I confess that I absolutely love it, Jesus

when in Your perfect way and time

You part the heavens

and show the world what You can do.
