Lazaroo – Sunday, December 26, 2010

No comments, Dec 26, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in holy defiance of the status quo:

“And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children…”
(Luke 1:17)

It hasn’t changed much in 2,000 years – has it, Jesus?

There are an awful lot of men who want the woman…

but not the child.

Some insist it’s biological –
that child-loving, child-rearing, child-developing

is woman’s work.

Huh-uh.

It’s Your work.

No one cares for me like You do –

and You’re my heavenly Father!

You define what it means to be a man –

not my self-absorbed
woman-abusing
child-ignoring
sin-sick culture.

Every child needs one man in his or her life

who gives a rip.

A man who cares what they do

and who they do it with.

You created each of us in Your Image –

including every man on this planet.

The right stuff is in us.

Please, God!

Bring it out.
