Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with edge-of-your seat anticipation:

“…you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”
(1 Peter 1:4-5)

A lot of my fellow Christians talk about being “saved,” Jesus.

I kind of like the term myself!

By Your sacrifice on the cross You saved me

from the just, eternal penalty for my sins in hell.

Because of Your resurrection from the dead You saved me

from the daily grind of empty existence without true, significant purpose.

When You came to live inside me in the Person of the Holy Spirit, You saved me

from the utter loneliness of living solely with myself
from wandering through life without a True Compass.

But I wouldn’t miss Your second coming/faith-becomes-sight salvation at the end of this age

for anything in this entire sin-streaked world.
