Lazaroo – Saturday, January 9, 2010

1 comment, Jan 09, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained allegiance:

“Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.”
(Ezekiel 1:12)

Something tells me I have a lot to learn from these “four living creatures,” Father.

With all my heart, Holy Spirit, I long to be

so in tune with You
so in touch with You
so sensitive to Your inner prompting
so aware of Your mighty Presence within me

that wherever You go…

…I go

straight ahead
without turning to the right or to the left.

May I never follow

my selfish preferences
my greed, anger, or fears
the imaginations of my own mind
the habit patterns of my background
the well-meaning but mistaken advice of others

Teach me to discern Your voice above all others.

In Your holy Name, LORD Jesus!

Amen.

There have been times in my life when I wished that I could go to the mail box and pick up that day’s instructions from the Lord. If we could learn to discern His voice above all others that would be SWEET ! Imagine the pitfalls that could be avoided and the work that could be accomplished for His kingdom.
