Lazaroo – Sunday, December 25, 2011

No comments, Dec 25, 2011

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with your whole being:

“…the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.”
(Matthew 2:9-11)

You don’t tell us the names of these Magi, Jesus.

But what we do know is that after they bowed down and worshiped You
they opened their treasures and presented to You:

gold – given to kings
incense – burned by priests
myrrh – used to embalm the dead

You are my king!

You are my priest!

You died for my sins!

And so, like these wise men…

on this day I bow before You

open my treasures

and offer my all.
