“…do not forgive them.”
(Isaiah 2:9)

Because You were speaking through him

Isaiah can say that, Jesus…

But I can’t.

How dare I ask You to rob someone

of the very thing I so desperately need?

My sins are great, inexcusable, innumerable.

I rely on Your mercy and forgiveness every day.

If I got what I deserve

I’d be drawn and quartered, then burned to a cinder.

Only You know who should be forgiven times beyond counting

and who should not.
