Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, overwhelmed with gratitude:

 “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.”
(2 Corinthians 1:20)

Your Father wrote the checks, Jesus…

You’re cashing them.

But here’s what blows me away:

Because I’m in You and You’re in me

I get to spend it!

You know I’m not talking primarily about money – which is only an incomplete means to a greater goal.

I’m talking about Your promise of joy

which appears miraculously
even in the midst of sorrow

I’m talking about Your purpose

that propels me forward
gives me a reason to get up every morning

I’m talking about the opportunities You create for me

giving me the chance to make an eternal difference
with my one and only life

I’m talking about Your spiritual gifts

which equip me
to make good on those opportunities

I’m talking about Your love

which makes everything else
pale in comparison.
