Let the love of God flood your soul as you pray aloud to Him the words of this Lazaroo:

“Your love has given me great…encouragement…”
(Philemon 1:7)

It’s true, Jesus.

When I’m loved…

I’m encouraged.

When I feel unloved…

I’m discouraged.

But I had to say, “When I feel unloved…” didn’t I? –

because thanks to You, I’m never unloved!

You emphatically demonstrated Your love for me

for all time

when You laid down Your life for me on the cross

knowing full well the ugly details of every sin against You
I would one day commit.

O God!

Let Your eternal love for me encourage me every moment of this day

and every day of the rest of my life –

– this life You Yourself are now living

moment-by-moment
through me!

But it isn’t just about me, is it?

How much encouragement do I have the power to give
to all the discouraged people around me

simply by loving them
with the love You have poured into me?
