Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with growing awareness:

“When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her.”
(Lamentations 1:7)

I don’t want that to happen to me, Jesus.

When those I care about fall into more trouble than I alone can handle

there have to be people I can turn to who will help us.

I know You are there for me and can intervene with a divine miracle.

But I also know You often choose to work through human beings.

Do I have any responsibility in making sure those human beings will be there for me when I need them?

You’ve made it clear I will reap what I have sown

what goes around, comes around.

Is today my opportunity to help someone else

so that when I call for help

You will have somebody waiting in the wings

to help me?
