Lazaroo – Monday, November 23, 2009

1 comment, Nov 23, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with total transparency:

“And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.’”
(Mark 1:11)

I know those words were meant for You, Jesus.

Your Heavenly Father not only loved You

but He was extremely happy with You

every day of Your life on this earth.

And for good reason.

Although Satan enticed You to do wrong in every way imaginable

You never gave in.

Not even once.

I, on the other hand, have.

More than once.

But it’s not like I’m telling You something You don’t know

which makes this next request sound all the more preposterous.

I would love to hear those same words, Father

spoken to me.

I already know You love me.

But on that day when I stand before You face to face

I long to hear You say

with me…

You are “well pleased.”
