Lazaroo – Tuesday, June 23, 2009

2 comments, Jun 23, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in total submission:

“The LORD has brought her grief because of her many sins.”
(Lamentations 1:5)

I don’t want to hear this, Jesus.

But I know I need to.

You didn’t do that to her to hurt her, but to turn her around.

And…

I know You didn’t show me that today to discourage me.

But to warn me.

Before it’s too late.

Because You love me.

Sometimes I’m not so sure I want that much love from You!

Your love is pretty strong.

Okay. It’s stronger than “pretty” strong.

It’s the strongest force I’ve ever encountered.

Some days, it’s more than I can handle.

Because the truth is, I’m not always ready to return Your love with equal force.

But please don’t stop loving me like this!

I wouldn’t have it any other way.
