Thank You for dying on the cross to set me free from the impossible curse of trying to earn my way into heaven, Jesus!

But please don’t let me make the terrible mistake of thinking I am free from Your law of love.

Out of love for You, may I never 

     Put anyone or anything ahead of You.

     Worship an idol.

     Misuse Your holy Name.

     Fail to rest one day out of seven.

     Dishonor my father or mother.

     Murder.

     Commit adultery.

     Steal.

     Lie.

     Covet anything that belongs to someone else. 

And may I shoulder the burdens of others…

     …with the tender, merciful love You have shown to me.
