Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with carefully listening faith:

“You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God.”
(3 John 1:6)

What a beautiful thing to do, Jesus!

I would love to give that gift to everyone You send into my presence –

that when they leave me

I always make sure to send them on their way

in a manner worthy of You.

But what does that look like?

It might be different for each person.

Some I might send away with a gentle touch
others with a warm handshake
still others with a hug or kiss.

Some will need

money
a warning
a reminder
encouragement.

In fact, depending on what’s going in their lives
it might be different for the same person
each time we meet.

This is beyond me, Father.

Only You know what each person needs.

Please lead me, Holy Spirit!

as I listen carefully

and obey.
