Lazaroo – Saturday, May 29, 2010

1 comment, May 29, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sharply-tuned spiritual sensitivity:

“So they asked him, ‘Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?’”
(Jonah 1:8)

Oh, Jesus…

Should I be ready to answer those questions

about my relationship with You?

What do I do?

I follow You.
Everything else I do is only a means to that end.

Where do I come from?

You are the source of my life.
You are the one who lovingly formed me in my mother’s womb.

What is my country?

This world is not my home.
My citizenship is in heaven.

Who are my people?

My people are Your Church –
composed of those from every tribe, language, nation and tongue
who have put their hope in You alone as their LORD, Savior and God.

Another very thought provoking Lazaroo Steve. Thank you for encouraging us to walk more intimately with our Lord by more deeply diving into His Word!
