Fascinating, Jesus.

Here’s Solomon, telling his bride how beautiful she is

and right in the middle of his poetic wooing

he utters what seems to be a totally unrelated request:

He asks for someone to catch these foxes.

It can’t be his wife.

It has to be You.
This has to be a prayer.

Because Solomon knew that nothing spoils relationships

like sneaky, ravenous predators bent on nothing but harm.
