Lazaroo – Thursday, June 3, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with excuseless humility:

“…the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God…”
(Haggai 1:12)

What a beautiful thing, Jesus!

the very idea of an entire nation of people
knowing exactly what You want
and giving it to You.

I’ve never seen anything remotely close to that.

I’ve never seen it happen even in my church –

not with everybody
not all at once –

but I would love to.

But even that

seems like such an impossible dream.

I can’t control everybody in my church.

No matter how hard I might try

I can’t control even one church member.

I have a hard enough time controlling myself.

But that’s where it starts, isn’t it?

One solid example.

One person sold out to You.

One person willing to give You my

“Yes!”

before I even know what it is

that You want me to do.

  1. Lady B. Says:

Yes Lord, It’s easy to just say YES to God when everything is going well and just fine. But, what happens when there is a mighty storm on the horizon? My Yes has to come from within that special place in my gut that knows God has me going through this storm for a reason. I must accept what’s happening in a positive and prayful matter realizing the the lesson must be learn. If not, we will keep on repeating the test until we have learn what it is that God has in store for us. Yes, to our Lord always has a price for us but we can be assured that God cares!!!!
