Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with fiery determination:

“…the truth is not in him.”
(1 John 2:4)

That’s a scary place to be, Jesus.

There’s a huge difference

between truth
and fact.

Facts can be manipulated to hide the truth –

by revealing only some of the facts
changing their order
inserting them to subtly change the subject.

Truth, however, goes straight to the heart of the matter

recognizes which facts matter
which do not.

The person who does not fiercely pursue truth

is fair game for the fact-shuffling liar.

O God!

Fill me, drench me, saturate me

with Your truth.
