I know the feeling, Jesus…

currents are swirling about me right now.

No, not the ones Jonah faced in the sea

but the currents of

doubt
gossip
societal pressures
family issues
relationships
health factors
difficult choices

It’s a lot to cope with if I want to stay afloat

and I do.

I don’t mean to be a whiner.

I know You can point me to a long list of people who have it far worse than I do.

All I’m asking for is Your

strength
wisdom
intervention

so these currents don’t drag me away

from my course
that’s been set
by You.
