What a scary thing to lose You, Jesus…

They woke up and You were gone.

You had risen very early in the morning, while it was still dark, left the house and gone off to a solitary place to pray.

But they didn’t know that.

My guess is, panic ensued.

They had left everything to follow You.
Suddenly, their leader was gone.

I know the feeling.

Sometimes I look all around for You
but can’t sense Your Presence.

Something tells me I’ll find you where they did:

in prayer.
