Renew your spiritual energy as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
(2 Timothy 2:1)

This is an interesting command, Jesus

one like all Your commands
I intend to obey.

You tell me to be strong.

At first blush, that seems like an affront.
How can I be strong when I feel weak?

Then I notice You tell me to be strong – not in myself –

but in Your grace.

Oh.

In Your love – the unmerited grace of Your favor –

You supply all the strength
I will ever need.
