Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with all the sincerity you can muster: 

“I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.”
(Philippians 1:23-24)

And that’s what’ll determine my departure date, isn’t it, Jesus?

the moment You want me in heaven
more than I’m needed on earth.

Even though I can’t wait to see heaven, I admit it:

I dread the suffering that usually accompanies dying.

Still… I don’t want to overstay my welcome.
I don’t want to be a hanger-on.

When You know my work here is done…
