Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in bold humility: 

“…rebuke them sharply…”
(Titus 1:13)

There are those who don’t seem to mind telling people off, Jesus

some who appear to actually enjoy it.

But for most of us, rebuking someone is hard –

especially when it’s somebody I care about and want to like me
someone older, bigger, stronger, in authority over me.

Before I rebuke anyone

I’d better be 100% sure it’s You telling me to do it.

If not, I’ve got to keep my mouth shut.

But if it is You

please give me the courage to do so
and the wisdom to do it with humility.
