It isn’t always when others think I should.
It definitely isn’t always when I feel like it.

But there is a time.
Your time.

On the Day of Pentecost, a crowd was gathering in stunned wonder at the outpouring of Your Spirit.

But some, spiritually insensitive, ridiculed what they were seeing.

That’s when Peter stood up.

Fill me with the courage of Peter, LORD!

When Your work is being maligned
rise up within me in Your incomparable, bold wisdom

to stand up.
