Lazaroo – Wednesday, December 30, 2009
Dec 30, 2009 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:
“Is there anything of which one can say, ‘Look! This is something new’?”
(Ecclesiastes 1:10)
I can think of one thing that’s new, Jesus.
Me.
What You’re doing in me has never been done before.
I’m nobody’s carbon copy.
I’m nobody’s copy/paste.
I’m nobody’s clone.
I’m Your invention, Your artistry, Your handiwork.
I’m one-of-a-kind.
People think they know me, but they don’t.
All they know is what they’ve heard and seen.
They think they can look at my past and predict my future.
No!
Because of Your power, grace, mercy and love
those things don’t define me, limit me, explain me
reveal me.
You’re the only one who really knows me.
You’re the only one who knows what You’ve secreted inside me.
Not even I know it.
But if in this New Year You’re ready to give the world a glimpse
So am I.
