Lazaroo – Wednesday, March 3, 2010
Mar 03, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in wide-eyed wonder:
“And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, ‘Let all God’s angels worship him.’ In speaking of the angels he says, ‘He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.’”
(Hebrews 1:6-7)
No angel can touch Your glory, Jesus.
No angel can compare to Your power.
You are as much superior to the angels
as the Name You have inherited is superior to theirs.
No wonder all Your angels worship You!
But compared to us
Your angels are nothing short of amazing.
They move so swiftly, so powerfully, so invisibly
that You call them “winds.”
You have given them
such power
such ability to kill, terrify and destroy
that You call them “flames of fire.”
And yet for all that
You’ve made them our servants
You’ve assigned them to minister to us
And one day
angels will stand before me
as their judge.
