Lazaroo – Tuesday, November 30, 2010
Nov 30, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with white-hot fervor:
“This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”
(1 John 1:5)
Let me see if I’ve got this straight, Jesus:
In You
there is no darkness
at all.
At all.
So since I’m naked before You
that means there’s no such thing as…
“a little white lie”
“I was gonna do it, but I forgot”
“kinda…sorta…”
“you were serious about that?”
“fudging the details”
“I meant to pay you back, but something came up”
“exaggerating just a little”
“whatever”
“the dog ate my homework”
“straddling the fence”
“my version of what happened”
“stretching the truth”
“oh – was that my responsibility?”
“I just didn’t get around to it”
Please help my “yes” be “yes”
and my “no” be “no.”
Anything beyond that is sticking one foot in darkness
and walking away from You.
