It’s not enough to be impressed by You, is it, Jesus?

Who wouldn’t be?!

Even demons are impressed by You

but their destiny is the Lake of Fire.

If all I do is give You props and acknowledge Your greatness

that’ll be my destiny, too.

Father
Savior
Indweller
Coach
Best Friend
Constant Companion

Boss.

I dare not “run ahead” of You.

I’m called to follow You.

I don’t make plans and ask You to bless them.

I go to You for my next assignment
then lean on You every step of the way.

Somewhere along the way, it’s going to get ugly.

That’s when my faith in You will stand…or fail.

It’s not the start.

It’s the finish.
