Lazaroo – Monday, March 19, 2012
Mar 19, 2012 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with eyes wide open:
“The storehouses are in ruins, the granaries have been broken down, for the grain has dried up.”
(Joel 1:17)
Sometimes when things get tough, I fail to ask You the most important question of all, Jesus:
“Why?”
It could be the size of the task You’ve given me.
If so, that’s okay!
Nobody hands out trophies for easy.
The bigger the task, the harder it is.
It could be that Satan is attacking me for being true to You
trying to get me to quit
or switch sides.
It could be due to my inexperience
reminding me that I should have humbled myself
been willing to ask for advice.
Or it could be that my sins have caught up with me.
What looked so good from a distance
became ugly up close.
What was so sweet at first taste
turned out to be the sugar coating
of poison.
