Even now, Jesus, this feels too good to be true.

From the moment I said “Yes!” to You

I was in.

But for all my good intentions
You knew even after I trusted You as my Savior…

I’d blow it –

not once
not twice

but over and over and over again.

You deserve so much better than that, Jesus!

When I let You down
the guilt eats me alive.

You knew that would happen, too.
You knew the harm it would do to our relationship.

So you fixed it.

All I have to do is sincerely ask Your forgiveness for what I’ve done

and You erase it.

Instantly.

Spotless record.

Pure as the driven snow.

As though it never happened.

O God.
