Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with utter abandon:

“He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught…”
(Titus 1:9)

That’s the huge qualifier, isn’t it, Jesus?

“…as it has been taught.”

A lot of people use the Bible for their own ends

looking for passages that prove their point
advance their personal agendas.

If the Bible quotation they discover needs to be twisted just a bit
or taken totally out of context

in order to fit their preconceived notion

well…a false teacher’s gotta do what a false teacher’s gotta do.

Anything to manipulate others
power up on people
keep those donations rolling in.

Of course, I would never do such a thing

Would I.

I mean, I just let the Scriptures speak for themselves…

don’t I?

If I run across a passage that shows I’m in the wrong

disproves my point

I immediately humble myself and change my position – right?
