Lazaroo – Monday, March 30, 2015

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with increasing understanding:
“May darkness and deep shadow claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm its light.”
(Job 3:5)
Job is cursing the day of his birth, Jesus
and no wonder.
He had experienced so much sorrow, heartache and pain that he wished he had never been born.
Those who haven’t suffered to that degree don’t get it.
They might even rebuke him, as his friends did.
But those You’ve appointed to endure the agony of Job understand.
May they also, like Job
live long enough to experience Your renewal
and withdraw their curse.
