You’ve entrusted Your gift of music to many people, Jesus

some of whom use it for You
some of whom use it for themselves
some of whom use it against You

some of whom take if for granted

ignoring how rare and special it is
declining to develop and share it.

O God! Richly bless the precious handful of people who have received Your gift of musical ability

and who dedicate themselves to continually develop it
because of their longing to minister to You…
