Lazaroo – Monday, February 16, 2015
No comments, Feb 16, 2015
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with fervent faith:
“I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’”
(Jonah 2:4)
People give Jonah a lot of grief, Jesus.
First, he runs from You.
Then You have him thrown overboard
to be swallowed by a huge fish.
After he finally obeys you and delivers your warning
He’s furious when You spare the people he warned.
But in his worst moment, in the belly of that fish
he saw his self-inflicted predicament
and still trusted in Your goodness.
In my worst moments, LORD
may I do the same.
