Lazaroo – Friday, February 6, 2015
No comments, Feb 06, 2015
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with bulldog tenacity:
“…the enemy has prevailed.”
(Lamentations 1:16)
O Jesus.
There aren’t many uglier, more discouraging words than those.
But they’re a lie.
That’s what the enemy of my soul wants me to believe:
He wins.
I lose.
Huh-uh.
Can’t happen.
Because I’m not alone in this fight.
I have You.
When I reach my limit
I can draw on Your limitless wisdom and power.
Oh, sure – it can look as though Satan has won.
But every time it looks that way, please remind me:
You’re setting him up for a fall
and me up for a win.
