Lazaroo – Saturday, January 31, 2015
No comments, Jan 31, 2015Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with lavish love:
“My lover is like a gazelle…”
(Song of Songs 2:9)
Was he really this good, Jesus – this lover of hers?
Gazelles are elegant and quick.
Was he?
Or did her love for him merely cause her to think of him that way?
Would others have said this man was like a gazelle?
Or would they have shaken their heads and asked:
“What does she see in him?”
You see me clearly – warts and all.
But in spite of every flaw in me
every wrong thing I’ve ever done
You’ve chosen me anyway.
Now that…
is love.
