Lazaroo – Tuesday, December 2, 2014

Get desperate before God, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“My children are destitute…”
(Lamentations 1:16)
Surely, this is one of the hardest things for a parent to endure, Jesus!
To do everything you could to help your children succeed
and see them hurting, suffering
without food, clothing, shelter.
As a parent, you’d feel like an utter failure.
But there is something worse – to have children who are
well fed
beautifully clothed
living in fine houses
but who are spiritually destitute
unwilling to acknowledge You
living in unrepentant sin.
Deliver me from that heartbreak, Jesus!
and do the same for my parents.
