Lazaroo – Thursday, November 27, 2014
No comments, Nov 27, 2014
Take a fresh look, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“For he received honor and glory from God the Father…”
(2 Peter 1:17)
Me, too, Jesus –
that’s the one from whom I desire to receive honor and glory:
my heavenly Father.
Honor and glory from anyone else don’t mean as much.
It can be here today
gone tomorrow.
Of course, those words – “honor and glory” –
feel a little overblown when applied to me.
There are a lot of days when I feel as though I’m hanging by a thread.
Do I receive honor and glory from You simply for hanging in there?
Hmmm.
Maybe so!
