Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with every fiber of your being: 

“This testimony is true.”

Oh, the pleasure of hearing the truth, Jesus!

Of course, most of the time I’m in no position to know what’s true
and what only appears that way.

You know all the circumstances that lead up to any statement someone makes.

You know whether or not what they’re saying is the whole truth
or only the part of the truth they want me to hear.

You also know when what I’ve just heard
is a boldfaced lie.

But as much as I’d like to hear the truth

it’s more important that I be someone who tells it.
