Lazaroo – Sunday, November 16, 2014
No comments, Nov 16, 2014
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with utter abandon:
“…from the harem to the king’s palace.”
(Esther 2:13)
That’s the journey I’m on, Jesus –
from the harem of this world
to the splendor of Your palace.
Here on this earth, I’m being taken advantage of
tricked
deceived
bamboozled
defrauded
used.
But in heaven, all that will change.
There, You’ll give me
Your best
to possess
as my own.
The biggest difference?
Esther was allowed to take with her whatever she wished.
I, on the other hand, can’t think of a thing on this earth that will be worth dragging to heaven.
That would be like taking a mud pie
to a banquet.
