(Colossians 1:16)

That says it all, Jesus:

You created everything that exists
and everything exists for You.

If I can name it
You made it.

If I know it
You knew it first.

If I can imagine it
I’m only borrowing from Your creativity.

You boggle my mind

ignite my hope
author my dreams
fill my heart.

Your authority over all creation

all nations
all people
me

is foundational

inarguable
unquestionable.

No wonder hundreds of millions of us gather in church buildings each week

in awe-inspired worship.
