Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud to God: 

“…it will certainly come and will not delay.”
(Habakkuk 2:3)

Your promises are always that Jesus:

Absolutely certain.
Without one second of delay.

So why do we so often feel You’ve left us twisting in the wind?

It’s our ignorance, isn’t it?
Throw in our impatience, too.

We’re antsy children, begging You to pull it out of the oven now

not understanding that if You do
we won’t like the taste..

I don’t want to be that to You, LORD.

Once again this day
I renew what You fully deserve:

my total trust.
