Lazaroo – Monday, September 29, 2014

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud…by faith:
“In it was a scroll, which he unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe.”
(Ezekiel 2:9-10)
If You handed me a scroll, Jesus…
I would feel blessed, honored, excited.
But if the only thing the scroll contained was bad news
my excitement might dissipate.
I might begin to wonder if I was being blessed – or cursed
honored – or set up.
Ezekiel was just a guy who may have struggled with similar feelings
but he delivered Your unpopular message.
O God!
Give me the courage of Ezekiel.
