Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with lavish love: 

“…he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do…”
(1 Peter 1:15)

I need to confess something You already know, Jesus:

Your holiness intimidates me.

I am so utterly sinful!

Even when I manage to get my act together for a few days

I can’t sustain it.

When I catch myself blowing it, I get so upset

that I sin some more.

I’m a mess.

So why did You save me?

Why do You put up with me?

There can be only one answer:

Your amazing, limitless, incomprehensible

love.
