Lazaroo – Thursday, August 28, 2014
No comments, Aug 28, 2014
Wait on the LORD, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“Then the men of Judah came to Hebron and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.”
(2 Samuel 2:4)
It’s gratifying when others recognize me, Jesus…
although in reality, most of the things people might admire about me
aren’t quite as good as they imagine.
In fact, if they knew me at my worst
they might have nothing to do with me.
By contrast, some of the things people dislike about me
might be the very things of which You’re most proud.
So be it.
When Your opinion of me differs from that of the crowd
Yours is the only one that counts.
