Lazaroo – Wednesday, August 27, 2014

Beg God for eyes that see clearly, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“As for those who seemed to be important…”
(Galatians 2:6)
Good reminder, Jesus:
Not everyone who seems to be important
is.
Just because someone gets a lot of attention
doesn’t mean they’re worth it.
Just because a person is enormously wealthy
doesn’t mean they’ve laid up one cent in heaven.
Just because a head-of-something appears to wield a lot of power
doesn’t mean they can wiggle their little toe without Your say-so.
I’m willing to be a nobody in the eyes of this world
so long as I’m somebody to You.
